Louhakapat , released in 1958 is a sensitive voyage into and otherwise unfamiliar terrain that lies in absolute ignominy behind the fortified prison walls and the deadly criminals lodged therein. Beneath their tough exterior is hidden a lovelorn, vulnerable soul that craves for some affection and warmth thereby defying the conventional image of criminals firmly etched in our psyche.
