"This method of French is designed only for Indian learners who are majoring in the fields of hospitality and tourism. It is clear that there are few methods for beginners learners of hospitality and tourism. This book is designed to take into account the recommendations of the Indian education system while meeting the real needs felt by teachers and learners in vocational streams. We believe, in fact, that learning a foreign language will only be effective if learners are able to express their own identity in this language as well as the realities of the country where they live. This manual will allow learners to discover the world of hospitality and tourism and to develop their knowledge and their communicative and professional know-how. This book will help them develop true autonomy in their area of specialization. The thinking that underpins our approach is based on the Common European Framework of References for Languages. Thus this manual explains the communicative tasks that the learner will have to carry out in the various fields of social life. This method has 2 distinct parts: the first part, consisting of 5 lessons, deals with the hotel industry and the second part, also comprising 5 lessons, is devoted to the tourism profession. Each lesson presents 3 dialogues. The dialogues are rooted in local reality. The themes of the lessons relate to the 4 domains of social life while reflecting the situations of professional life. These dialogues introduce communicative and professional know-how. The grammar and vocabulary parts contain explanatory tables of the grammatical and lexical elements that appear in the content of the lesson. The simple explanation of the grammatical rules has the advantage of allowing the teacher to use the exercises. The exercises will allow the learner to fix the structures, to consolidate the skills acquired later and to develop writing skills. This method is accompanied by a CD-ROM. "--
