Parzania is an imaginary world created by Parzan and shared by his sister from a Parsee family. It is a perfect world where buildings are made of chocolate and mountains out of ice cream. That beauty is shattered when a a fire erupts on a train killing 58 Hindus. This the breathtaking story of one family and a community's loss, during an act of communal violence that stunned the world and changed country forever. Cyrus, a middle class Parsi (religious adherents of Zoroastrianism in India) lived with his wife Shernaz, son Parzan and daughter Dilshad. During the Hindu-Muslim riots in Gujarat, Parzan is lost and the religious politics between Parsi and Muslims do not matter to a family who wants only to find their little boy. Parzania is inspired by a true story of a boy named Azhar who was lost in the 2002 riot in Gujarat, India.
