The book provides a comprehensive study of the progress of IORA and its member states in achieving SDGs, through analysis of empirical data on the SDGs. The performance has been measured by constructing the “Convergence and Divergence” metrics. IORA seems to have performed good in achieving SDGs by adopting national strategies related with SDGs. The science based policy frames are required to improve its performance. The strengthening of Science, Technology and Innovation is likely to accelerate SDGs. The environmental sustainability has been satisfactory in IORA and its performance in Social and Economic SDGs has been very good. IORA need to focus onTransformative projects for achieving SDGs and to initiate the process of MoU with India-UN Development Partnership Fund, established by Government of India in 2017, which may provide financial support to the projects that aims to hasten the achievement of SDGs.
